Not sure about powder coating, but several members have there's plastidiped . Fairly in expensive option and do it yourself . ShoManMike 84 did his and others , just can't remember who else.REDSHOCGO said:Has anyone powder coated their oem rims? If so what did it look like how much did it cost? I was charged 720$ for the set of 4: wheels sanded and repaired, three coats of tuxedo black, baked two times. A much better and durable result than plastidip imo. But plastidip, if well done is a good option and reversible too. However, it doesn't peel off that easy because it bakes to the wheel with higher temps caused from brakes.
Here are pictures:
This is the only decent picture I have in my iPhone that shows the look of plastidipped wheels when cleaned with tire shine (the blue SHO), the other pics are with tuxedo black... I don't know what happened, but 2 pictures were deleted...:

I have account at Sherman William and Ford Kona Blue is L60 paint#. It's not cheap by the QT. (at $52 my cost retail $102) because it's Pearl and Blue Metal Flake mix. And I got HAPPY WITH IT, here it is on my Grill.BiGMaC said:... Love the wheels on both rides! Was it much trouble to match the Kona blue?

I'll be doing mine probably fall of this year when I switch to an A/S tire. I'm thinking some kind of matte black, gunmetal or dark gray, not 100% sure yet.

I like chrome. If I could have a chrome car I would. (Good thing my SHO is ingot silver!) 8)
