Sctx4 tuner - Need Help With Datalogging & Setup

I know Torrie has basically full control with tune, but what can one do to self adjust any parameters . I thought I would use the stock sctx4 tune for the sho to play around, then when bored, add the sp534 plugs, thermostat, 3bar map and Torrie 93 tune. I am particular when I want my fans on, Max rpm, shift rpm, shifting in D and S more agressive, and taking off top end limiter. I also like to play with shifting feel, the throw you forward shift vs the chirp tires shifts.
What leadway do you get with this scanner, how are the stock tunes?
Anything anyone wants to comment on blast away I am thick skinned.....

How do you set up the SCTX4 to data log. What parameters do you data log,  when i poke around with it it has two preset, boost and battery charge level. I am new to this and just put in my 93 unleashed tune on 013 PP.

To do a full data log you need to hook your laptop up to the USB port on the device and use LiveLink to capture data. I don't think you can capture everything with just the device.

For shift points I would say MPH, RPM and Gear commanded. You also likely have some trans solenoid related data if you wanted to watch it.

Are you looking for a configuration file to load into LiveLink (the laptop/desktop software) or just looking to setup the display on the X4 itself?

Email Torrie and he will send you a datalog template that has everything he needs to make revisions.  It's a good base and you can add anything you want to log in addition.

What do I look for, what should I data log?
