SCUFF MARK

I just came back from getting a cup of coffee and left the car alone for 5 min and noticed a fairly large scuff mark on the car, hopefully it not to deep into the paint and hopefully a buddy of mine which works at a body shop can come over soon to try to buff it out, always something to ruin your day,oh well.  Z  :o

Z im very sorry that that happened to you and your car...that pisses me off so bad...i wish i could find people that do that..not only should they pay but they should be fined cited for leaving and evading

Ive been parking at the bottoms of lots for years because of that...too many people that dont have nice things and never will because they are trash...it really makes me lose faith in humanity

It should buff out, its amazing how well buffing can help

Sorry to see this happen Z, especially knowing how much care you take with the SHO :(  Best of luck getting this fixed.

I hope it buffs out well for you Z. I am constantly amazed at the disregard people have for the property of others... And the disregard most have for accepting responsibility for damage they do. Clearly not done by a "car person". Best of luck for an easy repair.

A car I detailed a few days ago had the same type scuff on it. Took me about 5 mins, some cutting compound, and a dual action buffer, I got most of it out, you really can't see it unless you are really looking for it. Any little deeper scratches left over can probably be wet sanded out. I paid a friend of mine $20 to do a portion of my front bumper after I got hit with the steel cords of a blown out car tire

All these "fixes" add up over time to loss of paint thickness.  So unless you are protecting your car with a sealant like BiGMaC does with cQuartz, you eventually get patches & spots of varying thickness in the paint over time.  My 2 cents, maybe paranoid tho :)
