Smell doing about 130

Was me and my wife driving in the car doing about 70mph,until i see about 8-10 maximas driving on the expressway following each other,sounded like a group of annoying bees,had some white shoe polish on the windows,then we were doing about 80 and just could not take the noise so i pin it and doing about 130 in matter of seconds until my wife screams slow down,ok slowed down to about 80 and finally got rid of those bees and then smelled like a mild burning new car smell with the a/c on,anyone experience that smell?

Brakes maybe? Did you use the brakes decently to slow down or coast out? Just wondering how they felt at the high speed for you.

Just coasted down gradually.

Wouldn't worry about it just yet.  Maybe the cats got "overheated" during that brief burst.  If it smelled like wiring, check for undue contact with parts, especially the O2 sensor wiring.

SHOdded maybe your on to something,once in a while on cold startups i get an intermitent mild rattle where the the c.converter connects to the exhaust,by midsection of the car?

You used new gaskets to put on the downpipes, right?  Maybe the bolts are just a wee bit loose back there, and when the car is running rich, such as at WOT, the teensy bit of exhaust gases escape with velocity and make their way into the ventilation system.

To other Members i always suggest to install new gaskets when installing DP,cause this was my second set of DP installed on my vehicle and the car was a few months old upon install,i used the original gaskets total four,thought it was going to be o.k.

Or maybe your car is now churning out smoke like a chimney following a downpipe install like mine did. Similar situation that caused the smoke that you are smelling.

Highly doubt that. Be more than willing to bet it was the cats heating
