So, Cadillac ATS-V

I am by no means a GM man, and I'll probably never have a GM product in my driveway. That being said, this new ATS-V looks really appetizing. Twin turbo 3.6l v6 making 464Hp and 445 lb ft of torque. Looks like GM took the ideal of Ecoboost and well, made it better, more powerful. I like

According to MotorTrend and Cadillac's spokesman, the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V will start at $62K and a fully optioned ATS-V will cost $87K...that is an obscene amount of loot for a tiny car.

I'd agree, but I guess it's meant to compete with the M3 and M4.

Yeah that is way to much for what it is. I'd much rather have a BMW M3/M4/M5,  Benz c63, Tesla S P85, Audi S7, Range Rover, or a Porsche Cayenne GTS.

One would have to be heavily drunk on GM kool-aid to buy that.

I just built a fully loaded M4 on BMW's website and it came out to be $90K, so I guess Cadillac comes in ever so slightly cheaper then the beemer.

Yea lol. If someone really wanted that, just wait 2 years and buy it CPO for half price.

And whose build quality will be better? and trade-in value? $87k for a frikin' CHEVY? Ain't no way, no how.....

I know..."Its a Cadillac NOT a Chevy"....one word Cimarron....

The Magnetic suspension is a really nice feature. I took a ride in a Camero ZL1, and I really was impressed how it handled with the MRC.

I am curious of the 2016 Camero "SS and above" dual exhaust system. It electronically bypasses the exhaust under WOT...

I've never been a fan of GM... Caddy's are just too expensive for what you get with them. The Chevy Impala 2012 and up inherited the Direct Port 3.6L from the Cadillac... and is also what the 2012+ Camero V6s have. This engine for the Cadillac would make sense if they kept true to their lineage but they have much stronger platforms for less cost with Chevy. The 2015 Chevy Camero ZL1 starts at 56k and it boasts a 6.2L Supercharged V8 power plant (and magnetic ride + brembos) that is just 580HP of get up and go...

I think Cadillac missed the mark.. again... but to us... that's no surprise.

Ats-v and camaro zl 1 are going after totally different demographics and completely different.....ats v makes me horny

you can get a CPO Porsche 991 911 for the price of a spec'd up ATS. And I'd much rather have a Porsche.

Pre-owned lol...take it...there is a reason cars depreciate so badly when u drive them off the lot no matter how nice or near new they are...simple economics. Nobody will pay top dollar for something that isn't new and shiny and pay premium to be the 2nd owner!

I am really sorry but... I test drove the ATS sport before I bought my SHO. There is no freaking way I would pay $90K for that. Regardless of what "package" they put on it. Now the CTS-V almost had me at that very price. That was a fully loaded 2013 brand spanking new. But the ATS? Seriously? The M3 is in a different league. The ATS felt like a cheap toy by comparison. I am not saying its a terrible car, well actually I am lol for that kinda money there are lots of options.
Let me ask you this. If Ford stuck the 3.5 Ecoboost in the MKZ, gave it the new RS AWD system, gave it 450hp and asked $90K for it thats like a 40K premium over the lesser MKZ would you buy one? Come to think of it I would have to see one to decide on that.....

I still would rather have the M4. Also I hate the look of the coupes Cadillac has put out in the past few years.

+1 on both of these. The Cadillac's front end is just plain ugly....and the rear angles are too. The BMW would be a far better car in the long run both from a quality and residual value. 80k+ for a Government Motors car? Are you insane?
