Love the SHO, no questions asked.... I am looking at another car to play with...

Not a Chevy guy... so no...
Not a Mustang guy... Ford Nationals burned me out on that one....
Not a MOPAR guy.. cause why?
Not an Audi/VW guy... been there done that...

Curious if anyone has looked into the Civic Type-R... I know they are FWD.. but looks like they are pretty fun to build out?

I’m trying to find out what the top end power envelope for their drive train is...

Funny... they are out of fuel as well with a tune... they are waiting for an auxiliary fuel system or upgraded HPFP...

Here’s a good thread on one of the other forums I frequent WAAAAAaaayyy to often.

Should be a very capable platform, but then so is the Focus ST or RS.  I guess whatever choice you make should also be comfortable enough to prevent regrets ...

CTS-V

Eh.. might as well get a Chevy SS...

Yea except the SS doesn't have a blower and all the luxury I imagine Cadillac comes with. I'm not a fan of either but I think if I were to get out of the SHO it would be for a CTS-V or and Audi RS3 even though I dislike vw\audi.
I haven't really given it a whole lot of time thinking about what else I would drive for fun but those are my top 2 at the moment.

my next one is probably going to be an Explorer Sport or Platinum, done up some sort of like EcoHell did his.

if i will throw caution to the wind and splurge on price, i'll get a used 2020 Lincoln Aviator (the one with the 650 ft/lbs of torque) in about 2 years or a used R version Jaguar F pace SUV (if thats the right name).

the MKS is paid off and still fine mechanically (although there are some squeaks and rattles, especially with these horrible tires (Cooper G1s) i have now) just needs some paint work done on the trim.

SS can be blown (no pun intended) and would be a good sleeper.... I have seriously considered it more than once...

“Dude... did that Malibu really smoke that Z06?!?”

Problem is those SS come at a really high premium since they stopped making them...

Mistubishi Evolution

Why not go old school and get a used 60's or 70's HotRod, you can get a decent rust free ride for $10G and then put all the extra money saved into Resto-Moding it. I have a bunch of projects I would love to tackle but cant due to location.

It's a bit early for April fools jokes SBS!  Leaving SHO for a FWD honda?  :bangin:

I know you said no to chevy, but as mentioned the CTS-V is in a different class than even the SS.  Having come from a STS-V (No, don't even research it, I loved mine, but they have issues) I did hang with the CTS-V crowd and I can tell you the level of interior refinement in the Caddy is a step above.
Plus the blower is already installed and base tuned for, so you have a designed package out of the box.

The AMG's are an option, but from what I have been told get extended warranty, when they go, they go and are $$$$$ to fix.
