Just for kicks I think I'm going to run the SHO in the Texas mile this fall. Probably won't be nothing spectacular compared to other cars that show up but I don't believe anyone else has done this maybe I can claim a world first lmao

honestly i dont know, ive ran it up to 140+ a couple times in mexico but never looked at how much ground that covered. If i had to guess I'll put my money on somewhere in the 150's

Hells yes!  What do you think it will top out at?

I think a decent rule of thumb for the mile is quartermile trap * 1.5.

so in this case 109 * 1.5 = 163.5, recently I saw this number hold true fairly closely for a Vette, I think with the SHO's less than ideal aerodynamics for this event that somewhere in the 150's would be an accurate guess.
