The more "exotic" mods for the 3.5 EB

Excuse me for NOT being accurate enough for you. I thought he said he upgraded everything on the drive line as the day we met we talked a lot about what he did with his SHO. Next time I will just keep my mouth shut around here. Too many up tight people.

He did tell me 700+ on the power so I dont know whats up there. He said he was the 3rd best SHO speed wise in the country too.

I was also not gonna drop names without permission as well either.

Not a matter of being "accurate enough".

I know he was talking at the time (of the National's) about researching an upgrade to the half shafts, but that was tentative at the time.

My point in reaching out to him was twofold. One to inquire if he truly was over 700 at the wheels..... to 1st congratulate him (if he was). Second, if he was not, to stave off a wave of impending inquiries based upon inaccurate info.

Not uptight at all. Sounds like, after speaking with Todd, you misinterpreted him. He simply estimated over 700 at the motor. Never at the wheels. Mistakes happen.

He does have one sweet SHO, and like I said previously, jelly of his truck.

maybe he or I missed something in translation. Over 700hp, yes... motor. Estimating 600whp, car hates dyno. Drivetrain, had built trans, stock trans with Circle d converter doing better than built trans “so far” and I do have a half shaft design I can pull the trigger on as well as figuring out next trans build. Hope to go back to track soon and set record with heaviest SHO. Hope nobody gets bent about misunderstanding or being corrected. Thanx

I ran my 600HP setup in my Flex on the street, took about a week for it to stop shifting normally. I can't imagine what would have happened with the extra weight of the Flex and the drag radials I ran. Luckily it worked well enough to be traded in. :)

Would you be able to publish more info on the half shafts? Trans Build? Or is there another thread(s) on those that i just didnt see? I am waiting on DSS to complete my CF Prop shaft to replace the, "incident", and was also wondering about the trans/half shafts. I have been driving FWD only since March, which apparently isnt a problem since that dude from Saudi actually removed his prop shaft, rear diff, gutted and sealed the PTU, and just runs FWD. I however bought the car for its AWD, so thats not a thing I am wiling to do. RWD conversion on the other hand makes me giggle like a clown
