Twin Turbo hood stripes

I added the Twin Turbo hood stripes today. I wanted something subtle and I was thinking silver woukd be too subtle on white so I ordered gray. I'm not sold on it now that I see it. Please give me honest opinions. If I wanted something this noticable I could have just went with black, at least I have some black on the car already. There isn't anything gray on it.

I like it, but I would go with black.  On the full shot, its not tacky and looks quite subtle. But  think black would still be subtle enough yet stay with the theme of the car....

I think the stripes accentuate the power bulge perfectly. Draws just a little bit of attention to something others might not notice otherwise....

Nice touch, Don!  I like the silver a lot, but black would work quite nicely too if you decided to do that later on

Don... Placement and install looks great. If your exterior includes no more gray then I'd say do them in black. That said, it may be worth looking at them for a few days to be sure you are unhappy with gray all together as opposed to unhappy with the shade of gray. The level of contrast is enough to know that standing out may well actually work better than subtle. I love the text in the stripes and they definitely add definition to your hood lines, which I see as an improvement.

BTW, Count me in the OC camp too!

The grey looks good, but seems out of place. Black would look better I think. Good job on the install though.

It really looks good on there,makes the hood scoop really stand out,and lined up pretty well and enjoy it.

I like it!  It all really depends on what your future cosmetic mods are.  As an example if you painted your rims gunmetal gray, I think the gray sticker would flow nicely.  If you painted the rims black, then I would suggest going with a black stripe.  Good luck.

The gray looks good but the black would look very good to, but would not SHOw-OFF to much. Here my car with silver SHO hood decal.

I was thinking maybe white with black letters. If they're not too much money, maybe I'll order 2 or 3 different ones and see what I like best when I get them.

I wonder if they could match the aluminum color of the wheel faces and just let the tux black come through for the letters?

FoMoCoSHO .... they have silver and gray for sure , the lettering can be cut out so the paint shows through . They made my S H O hood stripes that way .

I paid $35 for mine.  I think if you go with black or silver that say SHO they are $30.
