Who's getting another SHO?

Just curious as to how many SHO owners will sell or trade their current one for a 2016 model? I hear they will be lighter and faster! I am definitely planning on upgrading to a new SHO in the future simply for the fact of how much I love my 2013. Later fellas!

I don't buy new cars so it would be a couple years for me regardless. I really enjoy my MKS and would absolutely consider another one depending on what else is available at the time and what they end up doing with the platform.

Same thing here. Can't buy new. It's been drilled into my head that a brand new car is the worst investment out there. Wish I had the cash to throw around because I'd love another one.

They really are. I got my Linc only two years old with 28k on the clock fully loaded except for ACC for a touch over half of what the sticker on it new was. I'll grant that this car was definitely an exception, most other MKS' with similar mileage and equipment were at least $3k-$5k higher and I would have ended up in a SHO if I hadn't found this one, but even still when you see the steep depreciation hit taken, new cars just aren't worth it to me.

I agree with buying slightly used. But if I had the money I'd buy new.

As for another SHO, I'm getting a company vehicle soon. It's an older Jeep Liberty, but I'm sure I could swing an f-150 in a year or 2. And after my wife gets a new car, I'll be in the market for another car. It will definitely be my "hot rod" nice weather only fun car. And with mustangs not getting any roomier, I may opt for another SHO.  Especially since I love mine so much.

We've considered buying another SHO. Buying used is a toss up especially when we can stack d-plan on a rebate with 0% financing or money factor on a lease. X-sports sure are pretty though. And then there's rumors of and AWD RS Focus. Mrs FoMoCoSHO drives so little, so its hard for her to justify. I want to buy more cars to justify building a 4 car garage, lol. Daily drivers parked in the attached with 4 toys in the new one just sounds awesome....

For me its lookin like the 2015 edge sport, 2014 explorer sport 2015 f-150 with 2.7tt or 3.5tt or a 2016 sho. I highly doubt ill be getting a new car for a year atleast as i love the sho and still dont wanna give up the features.

I LOVE my '12 SHO...but DAMN the new Mustangs are nice. A '16 GT350 may be in my future :)

SWMBO will still have the X-Sport, so will still have an ecoboost in the stable.

If only!!!
My dream garage...

Current SHO
X-Sport
2015+Shelby
Tremor
AWD RS Focus
The rumored new Ford GT(I wonder if they will offer D-plan, lol)

I think that about covers it.

I'm sure I'll still with what I've got a while. Overall, I'm satisfied with the SHO. Plenty quick for me. Nice and stylish.
But, hardly ever gets driven.

Though, I've been tossing around the idea of selling the SHO and getting into a base trim new Mazda 6 or something cheap, in order to focus time and finances on restoring some classics.

If I wouldn't lose so much on the SHO, I'd do it.

I hope the new sho gets a upgraded awd system. If we even get a sho in the next gen. Just put an order in for a 15 lariat sport with the 3.5. Should be cool to see how it does with a tune now that it's lighter.

Another SHO.... Very possible, but I consider the current style a bit of a landmark auto, so it will have to wait until I can make this one a garage queen instead of a DD.

I had debated trading my 11 in on a new 14.  Decided against.  If anything we'll trade it on a C7 vette.  Kids are getting older and will be driving their own vehicles soon.  Don't need/want two family cars.

I've never understood the hate of our AWD system.

Driven various AWD vehicles and I find ours just as competent.

Repeatedly walked a 750 LI out of the box and he couldn't believe it. We had a long conversation about launch technique afterward...Wasn't very happy about his 100K+ Bimmer being out launched by a Ford Taurus, lol.

Snow, twisties, drags... doesn't matter the car always feels sure footed and predictable to me.

I'm doubting any change from Ford due to CAFE concerns. The ability of our system to decouple is one of the reasons our 4-600 HP cars can still achieve 20 MPG.

Didn't say I hated it. Just wish it could put down a more even share of power. The car does great in snow. Only time I want more traction is when it's snowing on the inside of my engine.

I didn't have traction issues till I added meth so no its not ford's fault, the car did fine before I modded it. All I want is a more tolerant system.

Based on my original tires just hitting 16k on the F1'S,the rears have more tread than the front, which is telling me the front have a 60-40 PTU RATIO which is pretty darn good considering the weight in the front.

The reality is no one knows exactly what system or what the capabilities truly are. Every publication says something different.

I can say that with my recent tune revision plus rain it is quite easy to move her big ass sideways with the happy pedal.

No way any system that is front biased and has an open diff and a transfer unit with an oil capacity of a child's milk carton is any good. Just no.
