I run Gmax's on my wife's Taurus.  Yes I notice that too.  They also get loud as hell once half the tread or so is gone and don't quite get the tread life I was hoping out of them.  It's the second set of them I've ran and won't be buying them again.  They're just fine for the first 10,000-15,000 miles. They're cheap for a reason evidently.

Ya, middle of the road price wise I suppose.  I'll spend the extra $20-30 per tire and go with something else next time around.  I love my Indy 500's so I suppose I should give Firestone my money and try a set of their All-Seasons on her car.
