Would I benefit from a later shift to 3rd?

This is my car 40-110, notice once it shofts to 3rd it takes it a second or 2 to start pulling hard again, I think its shifting too early from 2nd and is not in powerband? What do you think?

I didn't see anything particularly troublesome in the video.  I couldn't really see the tach but it looked like it was shifting around 6000-6200.  Mine shifts at 6200 and I wouldn't want it any higher.  I think when you ask for revised shift pressure, they only change the 1-2 shift.  I could be wrong about that but when I had mine done, it softened 1-2 but the others didn't seem to be impacted.

I wonder if it could have been pulling a bit of timing right after the shift...possibly due to lower octane than it prefers?

Mine ahifts right before 6k, around 5900. Cant be pulling timing it has 93 with e85 in it. It always felt like that after it shifts to 3rd, like it takes it a second to get into the sweet spot again. Maybe i will have Torrie change the shift point a bit on that shift.

Does it also shift at 5900 on the 1-2 shift?  Seems like Torrie prefers lower shift points for some reason.  I like mine at the 6200 level but I have never tried it lower.  Sounds like a good plan for you to have yours raised.

E85 mixers should really be testing to see what they are getting.  Buy the test kit.
I wait for 0 to empty and drive another 20 miles. Than i put 3 gals of e85 and rest of 93 e0. Cant be too far off i would think

Yup shifts the same in each gear, if i manual shift i feel like the car is still pulling the same after 6k so i will have it set to maybe 6200 and see how it does

Understood.  I meant that you are pouring in what you THINK is E85, but it may not have actually been 85% alcohol.  There are variations in content nationwide, question is your gas station doing that also.

Since alcohol is cheaper than gas, IDK why any supplier would want to cheat.
Sure.  But stupidity still abounds.  And I haven't seen ONE person yet who has confirmed they are actually getting what they paid for at the pump with E85.  Would be nice to know for sure.
