16 explorer XLT

Going to help a buddies wife check out this 16 explorer xlt in a couple of hours that she's interested in. It only has 25k on the clock but just wondering if anyone knows of anything that I should keep an eye out for. It's the 3.5 version with 4wd. Thanks in advance!

I would verify that the recalls are up to date,maintenance records,Carfax history is readily available!!.
Check the oil Dipstick to make sure its nice and clean(Full Mark).
There are some Explorers having issues with the T/B causing the vehicle to go into (Limp mode). Z

Should the gauge sweep all the way to 140 when you put it in engineering mode?  I went through everything and it looked fine but the MPH gauge only sweeps to 135
