I Just finished my Dads system. Third cat delete X-pipe with dynomax straight through mufflers. Mine is next.

Nice work!  :thumb: Looks like you fabbed a kind of "XO" pipe like Corsa uses. Good skill set! Also looks like you deleted the resonator... How's the sound?

Thanks.. I owned a muffler shop for over five years. Been a while, but it turned out great. I'll get a video up for sound.

That looks great! I've been debating on fabbing up my own x pipe for quite a while now. In fact, I just PM'd Mike to see if he had ever thought about offering an x pipe as an alternative to those who don't want to go with a full system. With that being said, if I had an exhaust shop around here that could do clean work like what you've pictured, I would reconsider a custom system.

I'm anxiously awaiting a sound clip!

Thanks for the compliments. Hard to find good custom exhaust guys. That's pretty much all I did when I had my shop. My dad and I have he same year SHO. Surprised his car picked up so much. My car was faster then his. I have a K&N filter charger as far as mods. He has the stock box modded with K&N and exhaust now. Steady pull on my car now and jumps mine out of the hole. He is happy.

Nice work. What kind of mufflers are those? I can't quite make the pic big enough to see how you joined the pipes, did you just stitch weld them together?

The mufflers are dynomax 2 1/2". I used the stock section towards the rear. The front half  is 2 1/2" , everything is slip fitted then welded.

This I is my 2011 SHO. My son MPJ did the fabrication and install. The exhaust works really well, really woke it up. The down side, I have become my father (old fart) the drone in the cabin is annoying. We are going to fabricate some J-pipe resonators to see we can eliminate the drone. 1500-2500 rpm is the real bad spot and it has seem to have gotten worse. Will post more if we can quiet it down.

I bet you could really quiet it down with DynaMat sound deadening material  under the carpet above that area .
