You have to love that ceramic finish on the DP,like BigMac's. :thumb: :thumb:SHOnUup said:Non catted with a ceramic (?) finish for me...I'm in

Sure do, his are my inspiration for getting them coated. I'm thinking red maybe, to match with the coilovers and end links I'm getting paint matched with the coilovers.ZSHO said:You have to love that ceramic finish on the DP,like BigMac's. :thumb: :thumb:SHOnUup said:Non catted with a ceramic (?) finish for me...I'm in

I think with the added ceramic coating you might see overall slightly lower temp's on the DP,and also might be a little longer process with the ceramic coating but surely worth the wait, best of luck and enjoy.SHOnUup said:Sure do, his are my inspiration for getting them coated. I like those things....ALOT!!!panther427 said:Three reasons for ceramic coating
1. Looks great and protects pipes
2. Ever so slightly help spool up of turbo
3. Reduced heat transfer to engine bay, trans, and ptu
I coated mine... love it... figure another $175-$200... Understand that, regardless of theories, only aesthetic benefit has been proven so far (including my car comparing catted, catless, and catted ceramic coated in BTB dynos same day, 3 pulls each set). personally, I'd do it again and also had my PPE hotpipes ceramic coated.s1krr said:I would be in for catted dps mid to late February. Prefer not to have a code thrown with catless.
I see some get ceramic coated..is this an extra cost to get done?
That's a bummer. Hope you get her figured out.wasinger3000 said:I'm sorry guys.. I have to back out. The sho is giving me trouble and I might be sending her to "the farm".
