So is it recommended i get a new set of gaskets for this install?

I was just looking at these. For the minimal cost, why not I'm saying. I know if I didn't, I'd probably have anxiety over not doing it.

I would replace the gaskets, cheap insurance.

Unless of course you wouldn't mind having to install downpipes twice....

Exhaust temps easily up to 1800?

I wondered why I wasn't really making any money previously on the catted pipes.

It's not a ton of savings on the catted pipes unfortunately I keep them super low already so you guys that need to pass emissions can.
