Has anyone ever heard of or experienced their SHO's battery dying with a tune? I have a 2015 Taurus SHO non-PP. Ever since I got it tuned if I leave the car sitting for 24hrs the battery will go fully dead. When I return it back to stock I can leave the car sitting for days with no problem. I tested this out several times with the same results. I even left it with Ford for about a week and the car passed the battery test, alternator test and draw test. For now I will prefer to keep the tuner's name out of this, pending on how this problem is taken care of.

Seems really odd that a tune would do this, should not affect the vehicle when it's turned off. I would check current draw with the tune loaded, so the old pull one fuse at a time thing to figure out if there's a particular circuit involved. Security, audio/video are usually the heavyduty culprits. Do you hear any relays clicking or lights switching on/off when the SHO's turned off (with tune loaded)?

No I don't hear anything with the tune loaded and the vehicle off, but I'll double check later. Everything is stock except for the tune and the 3 bar map sensor. Could it be a defective map senor?
Hard to imagine that itty-bitty sensor being so much trouble! But if it is shorting, sure could draw down the battery. Easy to check with a multimeter though, or simply disconnect the connector with the engine off and check the amp draw on the battery before/after.
Good time to make sure the connectors on the sensor are clean (electrical parts cleaner/MAF cleaner, or simply compressed air), as they can also cause a short when put together. After cleaning, add some dielectric grease before snapping back together, helps keep water & dirt out.

I ordered a new map bar just to be on the safe side. I will make sure everything is clean and use dielectric in the connector. When i turn off the car i unplug everything. I was sent a new tune the week before i dropped the car off with Ford, but the samething happened. I have the factory battery from ford. But as stated Ford said it passed. They said they even let the car sit for 3 days and it still starts up just fine. When I pick up the car later I'll check for a draw with the tune installed

Yeah i did notice a prompt on the screen when the car wouldnt start

I believe the interior lights were still on while i was loading the tune. Could that be the issue?
Not sure, but for the MyCal directions say everything off, don't open doors or operate anything electrical (windows, radio, glovebox light, etc), and don't let people touch the door handles (operates the unlock solenoid)... As soon as power is restored the batt mgmt prompt comes up but it appears that it stopped half way.
I suspect the battery mgmt program fails to finish and modules aren't going to sleep.
I'm on battery number 3 already but it hasn't acted up in a while.
