2018 Ford National's - Carlisle, PA.

Who do we know who has dual feeds AND coilovers AND ummm hard pipes ...  Just name names already, Brian!

Anyhow, just thought to mention that hotels are filling up very quickly.

I started my search by typing in the address of the fairgrounds (1000 Bryn Mawr Road, Carlisle, Pa.) and then clicked on hotels. Starting with all the ones closest to the grounds, appears all of them are already booked up. Geezuz. 6 mo.'s in advance and damn, full full full.

So expanding my search a little further out, I found Holiday Inn Express located at: 1152 Harrisburg Pike, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, 17013.

I booked a room there just now. It appeared they only had less than a 1/2 dozen remaining open for the Ford National's.

I will be checking in on Thursday May 31st, 2018, and checking out on Sunday June 3rd, 2018.

Hopefully any of you who are planning to attend as well, can also book the remaining rooms so as to permit us staying together in a group.

Please post up any plans you make respectively so we can coordinate accordingly. TIA!
 
Mike, I could not get into your hotel, all rooms taken, but did get the last room at Motel 6 which is very near, and they will leave the light on for me.  So I will be attending and staying again!

Are they any gen1/2 sho’s that show up? Trying to rope my father into going with me... it’s only about 2hrs from my house.

Sure are, usually one of the  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle  race cars show up, and there are usually a few very sharp Gen 1 & 2 cars. And even now and then we see a PI show up!

Thanks, after talking with Bamsho last evening decided I needed to come back and catch up...although the gossip is usually pretty good at Carlisle!

Looks like it worked, probably show up Friday for a day trip with the old man. Assuming I am not traveling for work :-) Would be nice to put names to the handles on this forum!
 
I know I wouldn’t be staying overnight but I wouldn’t mind coming out and glad handing with some forum members I live close enough I could drive up and back in the day
 
Just moved to New Jersey, looks like the event is about 160 miles from my house.  If I was going to attend for 1 day, which day would you guys suggest?
