2018 Jeep Altitude Package!

It was certainly a tough decision and couldn't find or make a deal for an Ecoboost or non-Ecoboost that would fit my budget especially brand new with little incentives to be had and finally purchased a Brand new 2018 Granite Crystal Metallic Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude package FWIW with optional Alpine 9 AMPLIFIED SPEAKERS W/SUBWOOFER for a grand total of $36,000 before taxes and applicable fees with an MSRP of $40,780.  Z

I certainly needed an SUV especially with the SHO being lowered and all with old man winter upon us!
Feel free to take a poke or two! Lol.  Z  :)

Manu appreciate the kind words my friend!  :) just been running around like a chicken with no head as of late!
It was quite funny as the dealer thought i was trading in the SHO and no way in hell! Lol.
FWIW did get them to throw in a set of winter mats and 3 free oil changes upon final agreement  :)
Its an overall descent multi-purpose Suv with 6 miles on the OD with a build date of 11/17!
I will post some pics as requested soon.  Z

I like it. I've been spying the newest JEEP offerings myself, as the wife poo poo'd the idea of purchasing an Exploder. EB or otherwise.

Although we're in no rush in the same token to purchase, as the '09 Chrysler Aspen Limited, black, loaded with literally every option available, is still serving is well, even at 180k on the clock.

Besides, youngest daughter now drives it primarily, but we still need the space for when we head out of state to visit relatives at their respective lake front cottages.

I second Manu's request, and kindly ask you put on a full photo spread for us/the community.

Considering it's in our wheel house of potential buys, I alone would greatly appreciate it. Interior. Dash. Console. Rear hatch area. Engine bay. Etc.

Thanks. Congrats. And most of all..... enjoy!

Thanks there bpd1151!  I also test drive a brand new 18 XLT with Sport appearance package which is a non-ecoboost version of the XSport and the first one of its kind! truly an awesome Suv but a bit pricey @ roughly 43K with low incentives to be had with an MSRP of $45,490 IIRC!
I will make certain to post a broader spectrum of pics as requested once the snow melts.  Z  :)

I like it!  Congrats on the new vehicle.

I've been looking around, but would be replacing the MKS.  Therefore, I've been looking at the hemi model.  Those get pricey quickly.  Do you think the pentastar v6 offers enough fun if you didn't have the SHO in the garage?

Please keep us updated on how the reliability is also.  Jeep is about the lowest rated brand out of the whole lot of options, but I wonder why.  Personally, I like them.

Edit - I found this https://www.consumerreports.org/car-reliability-owner-satisfaction/car-brands-reliability-how-they-stack-up/

Based on that, a Jeep purchase would move me 2 UP on the list!  I really question the whole list though.  Honda rated higher than Acura?  Toyota higher than Lexus?  Ford higher than Lincoln?  I wonder if this is more a rating on consumer expectations and the brands that aren't meeting those expectations?  Ram is high on my shopping list.  Holy moly is it low on the list.

I tried posting a few pics ^^ and any special requests or questions please feel free to ask and shall be granted.  Z  :)
I guess with any such new vehicle only time will tell! but so far i'm liking the overall experience .Z

Some pics in the snow.

Dash/Instrument Panel seems kinda plain jane, don'tcha think Z? Ho hum.

On the other hand, the navi/head unit display seems quite large.

Remainder of interior looks decent. Thanks for posting.

IMHO haven't had a chance to even pair the phone since leaving the dealer in a rush!  But yes you can add some features to the Dash since everything is set to Default values !
I didnt have time to open the owners manual with paperwork inside the glove box. Lol.  Z

So, with the snow coming down...shouldn't the Jeep be the one closest to the street?  Just wondering...LOL!
True! But like the SHO to be in the spotlight for all the neighbors to kiss my ass. LOL. Z  :D

Here are some PIcs of the Analog display and still trying to get a feel of the overall functionality of the vehicle has to offer.  Z
