20x10 40 offset on front

Ok. I've done some searching and haven't gotten a yes or no.
I'm trying to fit the widest wheel I can all the way around.  I am on h&r's so I'm a bit lower.  I know you can fit a 20x10 on the rear but can you fit a 20x10 with a 40 offset on the front without it sticking out of the fender well? What offset looks the best without hitting the inside or sticking out?

Thank you in advance.

First-SHO ran 20x9.5s all around, +36 front, +42 rear.  Don't think I have seen a pic though from the side angle to verify if the tires/wheels stick out or not though.

I've been looking into this matter for a long time myself, and I came to conclusion that 20x9 will be the best solution due to the fact that 275 will be the widest you can fit without modifying the fender in the front, therefore, there odd no point of going with a wider wheel as it just creates more mass. The offset, I'm still figuring out, but I think that 35 to 38 mm should be adequate enough, with 35mm being more favourite.

Ok, I was thinking the same exact as you guys. I have a 13 flex by the way.  Last week I took the back wheel off my buddies 14 gt500.  20x9.5 with 50mm offset, tires 295/35/20.  I was amazed that they stuffed under.  So it may be possible with the SHO. you don't know until ya try.  Needless to say I am gonna go 265 front n 295 read. .1mm shouldn't make a diff.

Well I ordered my wheels an tires. 20x10 40 offset with 275/35/20 tires. Front and back so we will see how they fit.

Hope it works out ...this is the combo I was hoping to do

Edit: I was gonna go with 275/40 though as it's keeps the same diameter as the stock size tire

They fit he is selling the wheels because he sold the sho but has not responded to me. I got dibs on the wheels/tires
