A Win For SHO

Went out to Thompson Raceway Park last night to meet up with Glock Coma and do a little test and tune followed up with some bracket racing. The car was nothing but consistent again, every pass was between 13.01 and 13.08. I made it to the finals where I ran against a 2015 ecoboost Mustand with just a tune and dr's, he was running 12.8's. I dialed in 13.08 for the pass, cut a .05 light and ran a 13.089 to win the street stock class. It is tough to beat a pass like that.

Glock Coma had a new PB there last night and it was good to meet up with him again.

On another note I am pretty sure my PTU is shot, I think I am just a front wheel drive car right now. I have never spun this bad before and the track prep was great last night. I have suspected something in there for a couple of months and already had an appointment with the dealer for service to check it out on Tuesday.

It was a great time.  I really enjoyed talking to Ron, trying to soak up as much racing info/knowledge as I could. This was only my 3rd the at the track....lots of practice is still needed.
Ron is a beast on the tree, and very consistent. You can tell he's been doing this for many years.
I did have a few Pb yesterday but still had traction issues.
Tires were at 28 front 30 rear and I still could not hook up. General gmax
Even with my traction control off I was still bogging down from spinning the tires.
The right lane was having mph issues. It was 3-4 mph to fast all night.

Still broke into the 12's, glock!  Pretty good :thumb:  Anyone on here running the GMax on the track?  Wondering if/how launch issues can be overcome.
