Accel Coils - Anyone used?

Came accross these today, anyone used these or know more about them?

These could be a decent product, however my personal experience with Accel has not been favourable.

IMO coil pack 'reviews' tend to usually be from people with older cars that were suffering ignition problems. They put some new "high performance" coil packs and new plugs and suddenly "WOW! my car pulls better than new!" :-/

They prob would have gotten the same results with a new stock set.

Don't get me wrong. There are scenarios that call for a higher quality coil pack but they also require a modified ignition system. (MSD ignition control modules for example)

I doubt for the bolt ons we are doing that anything beyond stock will offer any measurable improvements.

I know Accel makes ignition to motoroil and accessories from back in the day,but if your really want them make sure they are the correct fitment for your v6 twin turbo SHO and not the base model Taurus,different part#,honestly stick with the oem,about the same price and peace of mind regarding warranty issues which I doubt??

Thx, I'm flattered... I am certainly no guru, we all just try to help with what we know and between us all together we should do OK..... Still gonna have to be scarce for awhile...BTW, don't forget crash's opinion on this!
