ACCELERA PHI TIRES

You get what you pay for. Not always the case, but definitely in this case. Don't cheap out on whats amounts to be the only thing between the road and you when going 80+ mph.

Made in Indonesia , by EP and  they used to make and sell Continental branded tires under contract for that market ? ! ? ..... who knows ...

Damned near the same tread pattern as  ContiSportContact 2

I'd always echo the thought that you are controlling a 4400lb missile throughout the use of 4 pretty small road contact points… still it can depend on what you want to use the tire for, etc.

Here's a link to comparison testing on 10 tires including this one:

One notable factor was the excessive amount of rolling resistance this tire offered compared to all the others…. Just info, hope it helps.

I would recommend buying a reputable tire...sometimes going cheap costs more money in the long run then if you spent some extra cash. I have learned that many times over

I have been thrilled with my General GMAX AS-03's. They ride smooth, are not noisy, handle well and look great... also they are on the lower price spectrum than some other offerings, but with excellent reviews. I have driven them through the rain (their water shedding ability is top notch) and through 4 inches of snow / slush with excellent traction. We will see how they wear, but I love them so far.
