Access to hidden cover in front of shifter?

So the little clicky flappy thing in front of the shifter is where I want to mount my LED for my methanol kit. Mainly so I can cover the light occasionally. I for the life of me cannot find a car stereo guide or any instruction on how to get behind that panel. Has anyone here had experience with that? Ill try when doing this to take photos so we can have something for our how to section. Probably tackling it next week.

And if that wasnt descriptive enough... Im talking about the accessory cover (Accent lights, brightness adjust, and rear  sunshade).

LOL; it's easy dude.

Open your center console and remove the side trim from each side of the middle console--this is the trim that has the trunk button and engine start button in. it's all one huge piece; gotta open arm rest cover to get it off.

Once it's off you will see screws for every section of center console you want to remove. Stereo, center pod, shifter, cupholders, etc.

Watch the lockpick install video. It shows you how to pull apart the whole center console. They do it in like 2 minute, its crazy.

I put it in the same place. Right next to the cigarette lighter. I turn it on and flip the panel down. The only crappy part is i forget to turn it off when i get out go the car. I hope you figured it out already… if not let me know.

I have my switched power going to the delay acc fuse under the hood. Hopefully it turns on and off on its own :)
