Adaptive Learning....disabling it??

I have a 13 SHO and frankly love how the car performs right after sticking the tune in.  The adaptive learning "softens" the car up after a while.  This option menu exists in IDS as pictured.  I am not sure what the difference is between the stop and halt choices :/

I reloaded my 93 LMS DP tune and then immediately did both just in case, lol.  Wondering for you tuning experts if this will cause any ill effects over time or recommend not doing this?

That's through the Ford dealer IDS software.

That generally just terminates long term correction not short so the rest of the environmental controls are not impacted. For the most part that wouldn’t be something I would naturally terminate although I do not know what year it is. But if someone wanted it off and could present a logical reason for this I may oblige.
