I understand there's no performance benefit, and the idea of keeping the surge out of your turbo's is just good practice at best.
What I hate about E-BOVs is it blows off when it shouldn't, especially under heavy-load like highway driving. My BOVs open while I've got cruise control on and going up an overpass... like.. seriously?
This truck is pretty cool, but I'm used to JDM aftermarket... not domestic 36k warranty- so I'm trying to find a happy medium for a daily driver, a proper BoV will go a long way for me. (Plus it'll match my G35 and jetski ^_^)
EDIT:
Got a youtube video of your ride? I'd love to hear a real BoV properly done on an eco boost motor.
Sorry, No video... The SHO is so quiet the radio drowns BOVs out... need to try to get a driveby, 'cuz like I said other drivers have asked me because they heard it in their cars.
As far as the hotpipes... a lot of pics in the install video I posted here: http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php/topic,2248.msg32460.html#msg32460
There are pictures of the Tial set up installed later in the thread also.
Ralph or 4DR should be able to help you with these... As a last resort, the manufacturer was Paul Prentiss at PPE in Tempe AZ
