Dear Santa,
Send some elves to LMS to help finish the XSport downpipes and cat back exhaust..
Also, would like some more HP while still maintaining a reliable daily driver...
So a turbo/fuel system upgrade or something like that would be great..

Thanks Santa, your the best...

Sincerely
BMC

Dear Santa,

Please post the encoding key for the ECU in 2013 3.5EB engines on this forum.  I've been very good... ya' right!  LOL

Can you post a link for those?

If you can consider waiting for PPE downpipes, they pass emissions testing (per 4DR) and are a true work of art (in my opinion). MAK's may also, but Livernois apparently don't pass, even with cats.

Ok question...I saw post about a new HPFP being developed.  If you combined this new HPFP with new ATP turbos, would you maintain a good dependable daily driver and pick up the potential 200+HP from the turbo upgrade??
In reference to 14 XSport.

Good question BMC!  I also want a good looking ride... that surprises people when I ask it to, but need a dependable DD also.

Car EB engine has cast pistons and rods.  Only the crank is forged.  Besides the engine, you have to consider all the rest of the drive train.  Transmission, transfer case, rear end limitations and all the rest of the shafts & u-joints.  And then... how do you expect to get all that power to the pavement? Also.. engine parts are cast in Mexico, for what it's worth.  Note... Truck has stronger internals.

A re-manufactured EB car long block retails for $4,800. Plus install.  Tranny ain't cheap either.

Tranny is the biggest concern I have (after tune/FRP, etc being safe).  I guess there's not an aftermarket rebuild or "beef up" kit yet.

With  the tranny... you can start to tell when it is having issues... When you bend a rod or fry a piston... it happens instantly.

If you read  Ford TSB 10-2-6 (AFTERMARKET POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE CALIBRATION, NON-FACTORY MODIFICATION OR AFTERMARKET COMPONENTS) Written 1-28-2010 ( actually the day I bought my Flex...) You will see what can happen to your engine if you don't treat it right.  Also shows what Ford is looking for as to aftermarket tuning and accessories.

If Santa is bringing me presents I want an Audi RS6 wagon from Europe., new dually crew cab diesel pickup, and all the current performance parts for my sho.

Thanks Bob.  I agree.... and I have read it.  If you want to dance you have to be ready to pay the band I guess. LOL

For now i just want the bolt ons with meth and a solid tune. Once upgrades come out for the tranny and such i'll get more power but trying to keep it alive without the aftermarket is expensive.
I've broken 9 or 10 transmissions....so i certainly know about paying to play lol.

Tranny is fairly strong as evidenced by 4 DR... However, it's hard to get the power to the road with the rear only handling about 150 HP & Torque.  If you watch your vehicle at the strip, you will see the rear never really spins. If there is too much difference in speed between front and rear wheels.. ECM says NO WAY... and you bog for a few tenths.  Been there - done that!
