I have wanted a SHO since they came back out in 2010. I've been working my ass off at Tasca Ford trying to get to a place where I can afford one, and it has finally happened. I found a 2013 black with pp in San Antonio at a BMW dealership. It has 27k miles, a clean carfax, and they originally had it listed for $30,610. We agreed on $25,982. A few days later, they dropped the price $1000 online, and I got them to honor that price with me! Now it's the waiting. I have the bank check. I booked my flight for free with SPG points, and fly out 7/16. I will start driving home Friday the 17th, and hope to be in my bed late Saturday night.
Couple notes. I drive 70 miles each way to work. I was originally looking at non-pp for mpg, but decided to go all out. Snow is an issue in my area, and I assume snow tires will be a must, even with awd? My flex has no issue with no snow tires. I have a tune in my n/a flex from Torrie, and will likely use him again for the SHO, but wondering if anyone has tried the Tasca mod shop with their SHO. I will not be racing, so I'm thinking basicically: mdesign intake, plugs, 3 bar and tune.
