Back to Brainerd

The weather was a little better last night so I was in the 12's all night.  My 60's are not impressive but I am just not willing to launch as hard as some of you guys.  The track is 2 hours away and I want to be sure that I can make it back home!  As you can see in the video, I barely break the tires loose.  I was only launching at around 1500 RPM.  Yeah, I know...I am a wimp...  :)

Thanks for the encouragement, Guys!  I know there are SHOs posting better times but getting into the 12s felt good to me.  Now if I could just find a track and time with lower DA....and if I could get my brain to let my right foot bring the RPM up more for the launch....:)

If you go there again or some other place you should let me know! I'd go along with you! I've tried to make it to Brainerd a few times. Either gets rained out or something comes up.

Absolutely!  I would love to hook up with you.  What part of the state are you in?  I want to get together with Ecoboostsho at some point, too.  I would like to get over to Rock Falls, WI at some point.  Brainerd is a great facility, though and it is only $25 to run there on their Wednesday night street drags.

Here is another video that shows a couple of things.  First, it was my worst reaction time of the night and second, my brakes were hot and I damn near missed the turn-around!  I need a brake upgrade more than I need more power!
