Thanks guys. Very helpful info. I'll look into the thermostat and the weather stripping, now that I think of it, my filter was a bit warm today. A little off topic but does anyone have any suggestions for tablets that I could download the live wire software on ? And can a droid based tablet download it?
What sct device do you have? I'm not sure if a windows based tablet will work to data log. I would Check with torrie or sct if any tablet based device would work. But I'm certain it would have to be windows based. All you need is a very basic laptop. Look at best buys clearance and open box options. Or maybe Mike could help you out.. cheap Craig's list find an option too
Yeah... I hate our gas in AZ! ...even at Chevron I got a bad tank and had rough idle for almost a week! Still don't understand why they don't just offer 93 octane everywhere.
Idk about the unleashed tune but with Livernois their is a night and day difference between the 91 & 93 tunes. I was on a 91 tune for a while and then switched to 93. I went back to 91 for a month and I couldn't freaking stand it so I'm back to 93. Oh and on my 91 tune I got beat by the new Ecoboost mustang by a good car length to 1 1/2 car lengths and he says he's still completely stock. Now that I'm back to 93 I'll have to give the guy another go, but I may just wait till the track opens back up since most roads around here are covered in sand.
Took me till this past June to break in the 12's and I have LME 4X 3bar tune. Was on a big learning curve till I finally figured out how to launch the car. I agree since you can only run 91 octane tune, you are loosing some hp/trq. Have you messed around with tire pressures any, I found 29-30 works for me here. Is there another track you can try? My local track is known to be slow and I usually run 13.00 flats most of the time, with the some passes into the high 12's. When I was out at Milan this past Oct my car ran a best of 12.78 at almost 108, and it had just rained so the track was far from ideal.
