Billet grille installation

Does anyone know how to install a billet grille on a 2010 taurus SHO? Do I have to take the whole bumper off??

I guess if I had a pre 13 I might change my grill.....to a police interceptor

yeah police interceptor grill for a pre 13. Billet grills in my opinion don't belong on a SHO. But since my opinion on that wasn't asked for I tried to be soft

The Police grille won't fit on the pre 2013 or would require a lot of modification.This was discussed over on the Taurus Owners Forum recently.

no reason to put a Police interceptor grill in a 13. I was talking about pre 13's. I think the original poster has a pre 13. Otherwise he must really like the billet grill look.

To each his own I guess .... I like the egg crate stock upper Grill on my 13 SHO ...... Did not care for the lower grill which is why I put a Billet Grill down below....

The pre 13's interceptor can not be had even if you had a part no. for it. Which I believe someone once came up with, but prototype parts are not attainable.

Man, I agree  :beer2: ... Ford missed it on the lower grill section.  :yucky:  I don't like those plastic right and left ends on the lower portion.  I just haven't decided what I want to do about it yet.

You know that lower driver's side is the ACC right?  (If you have it.)

I'll have to check..... I know the self parking sensors are there on both corners of the bumper, but there appears to be 3 things up top... a light sensor, a camera and either radar or pulse doppler in a large box behind the rear view mirror. I know with ACC when cornering on a freeway if it's sharp enough (either to right or left) to take the car ahead out from directly in front of the car it will accelerate if below the set speed until we straighten out.

Hmmmm....... back to the books for me!
