When I was a youngster, we called it "power braking."  Later on, it seemed that the term became "brake torquing."  I think most car mags like C&D use that term.  With more and more turbo cars, apparently the term is now "brake boosting."  When I am at the track, I have heard people use all 3 of these terms, depending upon their age and what they are driving.

Old Fart must be a Cali thing, they do everything backwards there haha. I can assure you I was born before 1990! Seems the term took hold as more turbo cars hit the road/track. Interesting video though, thanks.
