Bye bye SHO for now

Well decided to get rid of the SHO and go back to my true love. My dealership gave me 27500 on the trade and that's since I work there, initially was 24500. So far my GT is giving me 21-23 mpg so it's right on par with the SHO except faster lol.

Another Stang is in my future, but I'm waiting for the '15. I just relocated to an area with a mild climate, so for the first time, I can have a RWD daily driver.
 
Congrats on both counts, RR.  Sad to see the SHO go, but I know you've been looking to do so for a while.  Stang looks sweet though.  Keep us in the loop!

For you guys getting stangs you should try and get the boost gauge added to the center screen like the gt500 has.

Meh. GTR would still stomp it. Besides, I dislike gm... greatly. 

The best affordable super car is the GTR.  The corvette in my opinion is not a super car.

Thats a give and take for personal preference. And given somewhat equal power, an AWD drive just about always top a RWD. Hence the SHO when matched with cars of similar output.

But I hear you. Any 200 MPH car in my garage and I would love it!
 
Agreed. I'll love any 200+ capable car. Once I'm done with school I'm going to buy me a GTR. My sho is just a step child till then hah.

Actually have more head room in the Stang. For a big 4 door the SHO wasn't too comfy up front.

Yeah, I agree. For its exterior proportion, it's a little tight inside. But, I'm a pretty small guy - 5' 11', 160 lbs., so I'm pretty happy in it!

The real problem with the Taurus is visibility!

I'm 5'11/180lb and love the cockpit feel of the SHO.  Sure it's not huge inside becaus of the console, but I like that.  The passenger is far away!

Would love to have a 5.0 has a fun garage queen.  Can't imagine going back to a 2 door now, especially with two kids.
