Can you siphon gas out of a 2014 MKS?

People in Orlando have lost their damn minds and a lot of the gas stations are out of gas.  My car is currently full and so it the wife's.  Her car gets better mileage than mine so I wanted to know if things got crappy, could I siphon the gas from my car?  Do they have any kind of security feature to prevent this?  I'm hoping I don't have to worry about it, but if we decide to evac, I'd siphon out my tank and put it into a gas can to bring along in her car.  Just in case gas is tough to find on the way out of town.

Well in this case I actually want to siphon from my car, lol.  So I'm just sad that it takes such an elaborate setup. I don't have all that crap, so I may just be SOL if I need to get the fuel out of my car :(

Well the only real thing you need and im sure you know is the super small tube everything else is to make it seem more convenient.  But i wouldn't worry to much although we had gas stollen when we got the price spike in 08 i believe it was... Maybe see if ford or Walmart has a key lock for your tank good idea for when you are gone

My parents live in Palm Beach County.  Their gas supply dried up two days ago.

Feel for you all!  Good luck!

For real... I live in Orlando now, but born and raised in Key West.  Been through a bunch of hurricanes, including Andrew.  The level of nonsense that people exhibit is mind blowing.  They're buying all the bottled water available, and I just want to slap them and say "You know this stuff comes out of your faucet right?  Clean your bath tub, and fill that sucker up before the storm.  Fill up some empty containers, etc."  No need to go full on Mad Max, people...
