Catless DPS Aftermath....

I wont be able to look til later but i woukd say 2 options..return to stock and log and or change that primary 02 that is locked...but i think you said you got a new one already....was it a motorcraft exact replacement?

Bank1 is firewall side, Bank2 is radiator side.  Pre-cat O2s are widebands, post-cat O2s are narrowbands.

Do you still have the old ones?...might be worth a try

With 02 sensors and fuel iniectors i would always go exact oem...the lambda vs voltage scale with other 02 sensors may not be the same and if not the ecu will interpret the signal differently

Theres a problem lol i changed the front side 02s however the factory 02s are way out of my budget at the moment, i will try swapping them for new and see of that works

You could try RockAuto.com and get a 5% discount on OEM sensors. Might not be too different for what you pay for aftermarket at a local store.

Cutting costs now may cost more time/money later.

Ain't that the truth.

That statement should be quoted and placed on the forum's front page.

Well articulated!

Thats exactly what im going to do, for now im going to replace it with a cheap autozone one and replace it later with oe
Hmmm how cheap? Make sure they are widebands.... There is a huge difference in price between basic and wideband..

Also, when I was chasing down an issue I swapped out the oem widebands with Bosch... And they worked great..

With Advance Auto Parts 20% off coupon they were like $75 a pop...

Happy hunting!

So your bank one looks like it has a standard O2 sensor... it reads two settings... rich and lean... like a normal O2 not a wideband... I would double check that the wideband in bank one is correct.

Looks like AutoZones cheapest wideband is going be about $100 after looking... so if you are paying significantly less than that, you are not getting a wideband I suspect...

Your Short Term Fuel Trim is slightly interesting... it is identical for both banks through the entire run.. usually there is a small variance.. like .01 or so difference at times if its tuned well... maybe nothing.. but not sure how its determining how much to fuel to add or take away on bank one without a good reading.. fuel trims might be being built off the only wideband as a failsafe if one is not reading correctly? Dunno...

AdvanceAutoParts is offering 20% off all online order right now using code NY17.. order online and pickup in store...

Try code  TRT41
I use this code all the time when doing repairs or brake jobs for friends/family.
Takes $40 off $100

I think you need to be signed up as a speed perks reward member to use.

Seems about right... Dunno... Your bank one is not reading right in that data log you posted.. it's reading like a narrowband...

dont the narrow bands have different plugs than the wide so they cant be mixed up??
im having similar issues with identical readings
my downpipes are unleashed 3 inch and i have 0 leaks anywhere

Yes but you never posted a datalog....its hard to say if your actual sensors were the problem or the actual wires were a problem based on the dtc you threw....you said you bought new sensors but it seemed like the wires could be a problem....try and post the log that made think something was wrong
