Cedarfalls Raceway Tonight!

You can try taking off the weatherstripping at the back of the engine compartment along the firewall that seals the back part of the hood to the engine bay.  It helps heat buildup escape faster.  Were you logging your trips down the track?

I saw an interesting move at the track last time by a 2014 Mustang although it was test and tune and not super busy. He would literally drive down the track at 45 mph just to cool off the car and then would turn around and go down full speed (essentially hot lapping) he said it helped...not really practical in all situations though.

Putting the fans to work along with passive cooling maybe?  Do the tunes turn on the second fan by default or is it still AC signal dependent?

That sounds like a great idea. I've noticed some of my better times are when I'm up front in the staging lanes...as they start our class of cars, if your 10 cars back you have almost 10 minutes of idle time with the car building heat, no good. At Livernois CAD you get the chance at hot lapping and it does help keep IAT temps at bay, but only for s run or 2. Then it's soaked and a good hour cool down is needed to be effective again.

DA was 2053 an hour ago...you definitely have some room for improvement just on weather conditions...12.6 looks easily had in better conditions

What was the DA at the time of my best run?

1781 at 9:15.  Good runs!  Nice job!  When I go to the track, my first run is always my worst, too.  DA plays a big role.  I think you have a 12.5 second car under the right conditions.

Sweet I will log the tune I have now and have Torrie keep improving it since he wantes me to keep logging. I think I have a 12.5 car too, thats my goal next time at the track.
