CEL Flashing, Fuel Smell, Misfiring

Hey guys, so unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened but as the title states the car is misfiring when decelerating, check engine light flashing, lots of smoke when accelerating, and there is an evident fuel dump/smell. I got codes for low fuel pressure rail, multiple cylinder misfires, misfires on cylinders 4 & 5, oxygen sensor bank 2 sensor 1, AND a map sensor fault code. I had the fuel injector for cylinder 6 replaced a few months ago. My car is at the shop and my tech told me lets replace the other injectors, O2 sensor, and warranty out the map which I got from LME. He said I might also have a fuel pump issue but we need to replace and retest first. Any thoughts? God those injectors are expensive. I also just the reloaded the car back to stock.

I would lean toward suspecting an injector as well as I believe others have had similar symptoms related to injector failure...

wow, sorry to hear!  Any idea what codes were set exactly?  Insufficient fuel will cause a bunch of problems, including all of the above.  Yes, could be combined with a fuel injector issue, but let's check these other things first.

So, change out the MAP first (stock tune - 2 bar, LME tune - 3 bar) see if that helps.  Might need to change both the one in the air intake tube as well as the one on top of the manifold.  Maybe even try cleaning them out first.  Doesn't seem like the MAPs are an issue, but could be.

If the fuel trims and AFRs don't come back to normal, time to look at the LPFP, fuel pump control module, and the HPFP.  Low pressure in the rail could be any of the 3, most likely LPFP/FMCM though.

If that doesn't work, change the O2 sensor (bank 2, sensor 1).  If fuel issues are happening anyway, changing before the fuel issues are resolved will likely foul a new one out.  You can decide.

A faulty PCM cannot be ruled out entirely.  Battery is strong?

You have new plugs installed, correct?  In the 2010-12, OEM plugs had a problem with the insulator cracking.  TSB 11-8-19
