Oh yea ShoBoat... I remember.... I first saw it early in the '90's on a Celica GT (factory option)... It came in the one you imaged (blues/violets/greens..... and in another with reds/oranges/ and tans... they used different base coats.....
I did a 1 ton dually P/U with the one you showed.... The paint was $800/qt then (20+ years ago)
I loved the way it looked, but repairing chips was essentially impossible as it left "polka-dots of a visually different color no matter what was done!

They used to call it pearl, but I think there was a proper name for it. I can't seem to remember. I do recall seeing a late 80's IROC-Z done in that paint scheme back in the early 90's. I also remember that it was huge bucks for the paint.

Yeah, I've seen several Cobras with it.

I thought it was green, then it looked purple, then gold....
Really did appear snake like under the right lights.

YES! HATED IT and the "BUG EYE TAURUS" LOOK!!!!! I did learn to shoot this paint but never did. But there were a lot of car here in ATLANTA with it on them. LOVED THE 93 SHO LOOK!!!!

It was called "Mystic Teal".

A real challenge to reproduce, let me tell 'ya.

I wanted to throw our spectrometer right out the window when spraying sheen samples and trying to match car parts / panels that came in when I worked as a color formulator in my previous life.

Hell Ford did it again in 04 on the Mystichrome Cobra's.
Even the seat leather was done in it.

Its not really color combo, it is a prismatic clear coat.
