CPO 2013 Taurus SHO

I just recently picked up a 2013 SHO non PP, I found a deal I just couldn't pass up.  CPO 2013 with 18K miles for 28.5K.  I traded a Ford Fusion Sport in on it and I'm really enjoying the car so far.  It has everything but a moonroof I think.  No plans to mod the car at this point, as I drive a lot between San Antonio and Austin, so I'll be content with the stock power until the CPO warranty is up or I trade it in (I tend to change cars every 3 years or so).  This car does love to chew up the highway miles and I'm seeing about the same MPG as I did in the Fusion Sport (24 hwy).  Overall I love the car, she puts a smile on my face every time I drive her.

My wife has a 2014 Explorer Sport we use as the family vehicle which we love as well.  Never thought I'd have 4 turbos and 730 HP sitting in the garage, but here we are  ;D

Welcome To EBPF skippy!!
:WELCOME:
Good to have you here!

Born in San Marcos and grew up in Buda. (back when it was only 175 population!).  Lot of relatives in Manchaca, Dripping Springs, and Smithville.
We were back there in Jan... the freeways in Austin are terribly inadequate.... left to 1st street after crossing town lake and went the back way to Kyle... Glad to know highway speeds are possible... LOL

But, on a happier note... yep... My SHO still makes me smile every day!

Whaa... He said it's hers!  Does it still count??? :D

Welcome to the community, skippy, and congrats on your SHO!  I hope it brings you continued enjoyment, maybe even enough to break the 3 year rule, in it for the long haul ...

I traded a Fusion Sport for my 2013 as well and I agree about getting about the same mileage with a bunch more power.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.  I'd like to think the XSport counts, she wanted all the features of the Limited, but the Sport wasn't much more money and I wanted the power train.  She got what she wanted, I got what I wanted, we both were happy.    We had a 2012 XLT Explorer we traded the lease in early on...that car was bad luck.  Nothing but love for the 2014 XSport though.  It's the Red Metallic color which I wasn't a fan of at first, but now the Red and Black color combo looks sharp I think.

Welcome!

Seems like there are quite a few of us who traded up from Fusion Sports to the SHO.

We had a 2012 AWD sport that we sold to my Mom. She loves it but when I drive it now I feel like I'm slumming, lol.

The efficiency of the Ecoboost amazes me, mine gets a little better mpg than the Sport.

Welcome fellow Texan ..... I'm from the Rio Grande Valley .
Now how about some pics of those rides .  :beer2: :beer2:
