Hey guys,
I have an oil change and general service scheduled for this weekend.
I'm going to set my truck back to stock tune. I spoke to service manager and said I had a tune and various other upgrades and just want to find a service location that will work with me and not try to void warranty as first option if any problems arise.
They said no problem, they will do the best to work with me within the Ford guidelines..
With that said... I have a few questions...
1. When setting back to stock, do I have disconnect battery afterwards for a few minutes?
2. If the dealer does any updates to the computer, does that have any impact when going back to my perform tune?
3. If there is an update and I load my perform tune. Do I need an updated stock tune from LMS?
Thx guys
