Display modes - Right Side

Is there a way to have the right side of the speed O show car data and not just infotainment data?

So far all I see if is you can only get infotainment on the right side.

The best of my knowledge the only thing that can be added to the right side of the instrument cluster is instead of having compass you can add navi just like i did,but you will need to have access to IDS software in order to have anything done on the 13 SHO which has more probability to add such features than any other year.  Z

So there is no way to get car data on right screen. FAIL.

I would rather have some of the function on the left show on the right. Someone know how to code HAHA

Still.... There must be a way. My '13 SHO has automatically downloaded some updates on startup. When it did that on two occasions (it told me that it was doing so on the big center screen)... All the info from the center screen was transferred during that time to the right LED screen beside the speedometer... Just saying, no clue as to how.

On the SYNC update screen?

Mine does that from time to time and when I flash but I've not seen that move to the other screen in either car...

On the other hand, while sitting in my living room configuring Torque the car has woken up, connected with my tab, and sent data....

That's kind of creepy.

I'm sure ecoboostsho can figure out a way to sniff the data sent & what it contains other than ACKs/NACKs ;)

Ha!  Assuming you are referring to FoMoCoSHO's comment  - Well I could tell you what the data was if I happened to catch it in process - which would be very difficult to do since it sounds like it doesn't happen on a regular basis.  You'd have to be sitting  there watching the CAN bus when it happened.  It would be interesting to see what is going on if it truly is sending data on its own.

It sent fuel pressure(very low), IAT1,2,CAC, coolant temp, trans temp IIRC.

Everything else was zeroed or dashed out.

Probably need access to the code to display items. Drive split, oil temp, boost pressure, and volts would be 4 small gauges I would love to have on the right side. The data is there, just need to program the display in "display mode".

Anyone friends with the tuners like Liverinous or Diablo?????

That stuff isnt in the tune...i think ur talking about firmware/software within the modules....i would say you have to program with ids but you would also have to have the actual icp software that has been reprogrammed

You want to talk to jmr061...ids lets you program the modules ...but you are talking about completely restructuring the programming for the module.....jmr just adds displays that are built into the clusters he just unlocks it...you are talking about a configureable gauge layout
