Does this pipe look split?

Nothing the dealership did really fixed my issue.  So I just happened to get stuck working like a madman and I was finally able to install my hotpipes tonight that I ordered like 2mos ago.

First test drive, the crazy whiney whistley sound is gone when I accelerate, pretty sure my factory ford pipes were bullshit.  I have to do some data logging to confirm, but 99% sure the ecopower hotpipes just fixed my boost leak. I did the tial BOV option too, so could have also been factory BOV idk, but that **** is in a box! don't think its ever going back on.

still looks wonky on the datalog, ordered a DG1Z-9C490-B which i believe has some vacuum hoses and a check valve, we shall see.

This is a bit maddening without the right tools to test. I just took more pipes off, checked connections.

Is the TB supposed to be lined up the way it is to the upper intake?

Had a bunch of oil under the TB hose, picture of bottom of that hose attached with throttle blade in the background

I was combing through the thread and noticed an extra engine ground strap on PIC # 2 !!!!. :hmmm:  Dont think its a good source to add an additional ground on that location IMO.  Z

This was the rushed install, I'm waiting for that vacuum part to come where I have the 8an blue line, when that gets here and I install it, I'm going to trim down the vacuum line running to my BOV, i just drapped it across and zipped it up for now.    Resnugged all my clamps last night too, installed the prior night but got side tracked when I dropped a socket down the hood latch hole and spent some time trying to fish it back out lol

I would make certain all the hose clamps are nice and tight.
The front hose by the intake charge pipe seems loose ^^ IMO!!.
Did you ever change your spark plugs?  Check your CAI to make sure clamps are tight.  Best of luck. Z

It's certainly hard to digest but hopefully the dealer gets it right this time around.  Best of luck on a permanent fix.  Z

Do you run without the cover on now?

@- Jbeez that's some excessive oil inside the intake charge pipe!!  :o
I'm hoping it will run better than ever once completed.
I usually leave the cover on for the most part.  Z

Replied on my computer but its hanging, anyway got that hose part its slightly different than original, missing one check valve and some minor tee plumbing to facilitate that.

They looked at car today, ordered turbo parts to replace rear turbo again, performing recall or TSB on that  rear valve cover pcv system they said its leaking zee oils.

Have any of you guys cut into this hard pcv vacuum hose? Do you use a heatgun to work on it?

That's actually Great news that the Dealer is performing the updated PCV System as per TSB .  :)
I actually used Swamprat's old method and simply cut the Pcv vacuum hose for reference with a utility Knife while using a 3/8 Tee as illustrated below.  Z

Heat gun is the way to go with those plastic lines. The heat should allow you to remove the fitting without having to cut the line.

Its looks Great!  I guess the Bigger question is how is she running?  Z
Btw Pic # 2 the wastegate hose suppose to go under the intake charge pipe.  :D

Haven't datalogged yet. I wanted to install my hotpipes but temp dropped 20 degrees and now its 35 out, supposed to go upto 50 on Sunday so I might wait until then and also do an oil change at the same time.

I think I'm going to chop into that hose assembly I bought and try to slip this fitting in with a heatgun and see how it goes..... chopped that hard plastic pipe, my TEE is like 6AN the hard plastic hose is 11mm ID, I have 11mm hose clamp which is a hair too small to fit so I need like a 12 or 13mm, my 14mm hose clamp is a hair too big.  Is this line under boost pressure or just vacuum? Looks like I'm running to the autoparts store :D
