E elund126 New member Sep 4, 2014 #1 I have a 2010 and the owner's manual says DOT3 is the recommended brake fluid. If I am reading this right, DOT 4 has a higher boiling point and is generally thought to be an upgraded fluid. Any thoughts on 3 vs 4?

F Frozen Taurus New member Sep 4, 2014 #2 Dot 4 is fine too ... I always upgrade when I do a brake upgrade or flush/bleed
