Down pipes-Unleashed vs. PPE

Thinking about going with down pipes on my 14 SHO. Any difference in PPE vs Unleashed? I thought I remember hearing something about the PPE pipes smoking, but was that only the off-road?

And have any of you replaced the 3rd cat (or resonator) with a straight pipe?

Anyone have video of catted down pipes, replaced 3rd and stock exhaust?

I search the exact title and it doesn't pop up for some reason...then when you actually go into the exaust category you have to choose the "pinned" or "saved" option. It's a special post.

If exhaust related the "smoking" and odor issues are related to catless DPs and 3rd cat deletes... this issue is not related to brand.

Op there is a 3rd cat and a resonator in the stock setup...the way u wrote ur post I think u are calling them one in the same...I had a stainless works cat back and it just contained a resonator

I would personally go with the PPE CATTED DP from 4DRHTRD,have them on my car for over a year know and absolutly love them,the quality and fitment is spot on,know to the Unleashed being at 3in which kind of troubles me pertaining to the amount of clearance you have,which leads me to believe there is potential risks like heat transfer,due to the tight clearance,no dis intended,would personally go with PPE DP which has a solid reputation and has been doing this for quite sometime know,just my 2cent.Z.

Haha...I have a feeling....with the urge to track it and the tune adjustments being stated so closely together that there may be a little more to this  

Fan adjustment = more growl from the pipes

When you throw down some new times I'm hoping for some news to trickle down.

I'm a little excited now about you being excited to get to the track with this tune adjustment.
