It's been a while for me here but still the Eco enthusiast. Tonight will be the 1st 1/4 I've ran w/this car. Looking for recommendations on launching. All trac-control off and leave in sport mode and let the car shift itself?
Leave it in D, traction control in sport mode and launch at about 2k. That's been my fastest times. You can play with the launch rpm a little, your individual car will differ slightly. When I got my 1.8 60 foot I launched at 2200.
Take out the spare tire, floor mats, and stuff in glove compartments if you are looking to get your best run. I remove the Engine cover as well, I have a theory that it holds the heats and provides for less cooling.

Not - they unexpectedly canceled at PIR. Woodburn has drags tomorrow and it's ford only day. Might go there or wait till next fri, sat night at PIR
