EBC Ultimax slotted rotors with Redstuff pads life expectancy

I have this setup with my 2010, the red pads started squealing about 2k miles ago (8k on the pads total at the time.) I removed the shim and reattached with high temp silicone. That fixed the squeal for about 500 miles but returned. I plan on replacing them soon with something else.
Ebc didn't do anything about the pads because they were out of warranty.
Obviously the shim became loose and moved causing the squeal.

Big difference....

This is what I'm afraid of I'd hope to get 20-30k minimum out brake pads/rotors, this is leading back to stock rotors and police spec pads, I can't afford new pads/rotors every 3-6k miles

AJPTURBO has some ebc new brakes for sale in the classified section for 2013+ sho.

Yeah and the sport 3GD rotors I'm selling are better than the ultimax I believe....I think the sport 3GD is one of EBC's better rotors.

I was surprised how expensive the EBC parts I got were...I was looking forward to trying them...I have them listed for a pretty fair price if you see what they cost.
