that article links to a V8 ecoboost for the future GT500's code named the roadrunner (to beat the coyote 5.0 engines). Bacically says a TT5.0 yo replace the suoercharged huge 5.4 or 5.6 what ever thay are now. I think there was a hieght issue with the Eaton / TVS blowers fitting under the next gen Mustanf hoods. Anyway at what point to they stop calling TT engines "eco" ? At +600 hp ?? lol

Roadrunner is actually the Boss motor.  The rumor mill I keep hearing about is a 2016 GT350 with a 5.2 flatplane crank motor.  It's on my shortlist as is a C7 vert.

I'm surprised it's not the 2.7 ecoboost going in the Mustang and a "fun" Fusion.  My company did the assembly line for the 2.7 and I was anxiously waiting to hear where it was going.  Looks like it's just F150's. :(  Looks on Wikipedia like it's more built for torque, which explains it's place in the F150 I suppose.  320hp and 370ft-lb.  I'd like to see a 300hp Fusion, though I'm perfectly happy with my MKS now and would not go back to a Fusion.

Ha nothing ECO on anything over 500 hp in my opinion no matter how many turbos you strap to it...
