Good observation. I've heard of people with treaded tires being given warnings not to do it again or leave. Even see rear wheel drive with slicks go around box then back into it, I'm guessing this is to not take water up to the line with the fronts.crash712us said:Dam nice time! I NEVER go through the water box! Your right, that's just asking for spinning. What you didn't get to see is me drive around it and then back up. I back up so I can hit the tires a little harder so I hopefully get them a bit more tacky and not roll through the lights.

How are you doing this without destroying the awd system?crash712us said:I've tried a E Brake burnout before. Works fine on the street, if done correctly. But at the track it sounded like the engine banged against the firewall. So I don't do it anymore, but stiffer engine mounts would be helpful.
