First road trip in THE SHO

Left Philadelphia area at 4am and arrived in Orlando at 8pm.  16 hours of pure SHO-ness. This car is fantastic on a long road trip.
Got her in October and now have just over 7k miles. Put on 1,012 miles today with a travel time of 15 hours and 22 minutes. Averaged 25.4 mpg (according to the trip comp) and used 39.8 gallons of Gas.  Used only Shell V-Power 93 octane.
Im impressed with it.  Used the adaptive cruise control the whole way. Set at 78 mph.  It snowed from Delaware to DC and rained from Richmond to Orlando.  The SHO was fantastic in the weather as usual. She's bone stock, except for four new tires that were put on yesterday by the ford dealer (but thats a topic for another thread).

Too bad the weather was kinda crummy.  Have a nice time in Orlando!

You made excellent time down there!  I remember it used to take me about 14 from Silver Spring, MD area down to Orlando back in the 90's.  Believe it or not, I averaged just about 28 mpg too, that was icing!

Sounds like a great trip! ... I felt the same way after my first real road trip in the SHO... Enjoy Orlando! ... wishing you a great and safe drive home when you've had all the florida sunshine you can stand! LOL
