First runs with the tune

Today I had the pleasure of doing a track day at my local 1/8th mile track. This was the first time I had the car out with my unleashed 3 bar tune. We almost had the track to ourselves (Big Chief and Shawn, murder nova from Street Outlaws were there) therefore I was able to make 8 passes in 4 hours.

The car did pretty good and the mph was consistently in the upper 87's with times ranging from 8.29 to 8.26 and 60' times as low as 1.84. Now I need to work with Torrie some more and also work on my launches.

What's the record for 3bar tune only?

bunch of us have posted our 1/8th times in there. My personal best tune only was 8.11

does the car have spacers in the rear if so what size it looks amazing

Shohoe!, thank you. I kinda like the stance. Yes it has h&r 25mm spacers at the rear with secndary lugs and 10mm in the front with extended studs.

SHOnUup,  were you car 283 or 4? If 283 please tell me how you did it.

283...little splash of e/85, tire psi dropped, 2200-2300 launch and hang on. Did this on the hated stock RSA'S too. Modded Windstorm  (airaid) also...and I have my intake pipes protected from heat from engine by wrapping sides pointing at block with insulation

Funny thing is. This was at Livernois customer appreciation day event and you could pick your own number. First one I went after was 4, taken it was. Then next 2 were also took...lol
